The Role
Pomegranate is looking for a talented, thoughtful, detail-oriented UI Designer to join our design team. You’ll be helping to craft beautiful, emotionally resonant digital experiences.
Your week-to-week will primarily involve designing websites and experiences for new and existing clients. You’ll also dip into a bit of pure graphic design work throughout the week: usually marketing material for a few of our long-term clients, shared across the team to keep our visual instincts sharp. On top of that, you’ll help to run both internal and external workshops to clarify direction, explore ideas, or unblock the work.
What Makes Design at Pomegranate Different
At Pomegranate, we believe in design. Design is not just how things look — it’s how they work, feel, and function as a whole. We intentionally weave behavioural science and research into our design work to maximise its potential.
This is your opportunity to join a design team whose creative processes are deliberately structured to maximise creativity through carefully designed methods, collaboration, transparent thinking and a culture of honest critique. You’ll be encouraged to ask big questions, push your craft, and take real ownership of the work.
At Pomegranate, we also believe that both design and development are symbiotic.
You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented developers who understand the craft of design. Inversely, you as a member of the design team will learn to understand the developed environment so that your designs create the maximum impact when shipped.
